IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SHOWS: If you are going to run shows for Lilliputz Miniaturez PLEASE stick to the conventional Pointage System. DO NOT GIVE DOUBLE or EXTRA SHOW POINTS. - Offering extra points makes it unfair to petz who have worked their way up to attain their Champion Status by receiving the Standard Points for their placing. Doubling the points would make Bogus Championship Status for winners - and therefor become worthless. ie SGCH should take a minimum of 6 BIS (or equivalent points), but double points would mean only 3 BIS (or equivalent points) needed to gain a SGCH. THIS WOULD BE MOST UNFAIR and reflect a bad reputation for Lilliput Miniaturez, and they may possibly be unwelcome in other shows! Please, don't let your enthusiasm run away with itself - stick to the general rules when awarding points. Thank you - Sandy. |

SECRETS OF THE REAL LILLIPUT FILES We have been asked many times how do you get the Lilliputz 'so small' - like 'are they hexed' or 'is there a site where they can be obtained from'. The name Lilliputz Miniaturez, the Lilliput Miniaturez Website and Sandy's Diary was conceived and published by Sandy in April 2000, and thereby Copyrighted. The petz filez are the brainchild of Sandy's friend who does not have her own website & insists on remaining anonymous. (Let's call her ' Lilli '). If you look into the Lilliput Petz history filez you will see that most of the petz have several generations in their blood lines. (btw - Petz histories only show the last 8 generations). Proper Lilliputz ARE NOT first-gen hexies!! They have all been produced from a Selective Breeding Process which has taken over a year to complete. The process involves breeding hundreds of small petz until they naturally produce smaller off-spring. Then their sizes can be controlled by breeding them with various sized petz to achieve the sizes you want. 'Lilli ' will not release any of her breeding petz into the community because she does not want their genes to affect the normal breeding process of normal petz breedz. This would be detrimental to everyone because you would never be quite sure if someone had introduced the 'mini genes' into the normal petz which you adopt around the websites. This is also why all the Lilliputz are spayed and neutered before they are adopted out, and therefore it is forbidden under the copyright on this website to tamper with or modify the files of the adopted Lilliputz Petz or to reverse the breeding potential. I hope this will give some clues as to how it is done. That is about it really. Much more exciting and romantic to go along with Sandy's Lilliput Stories and Sandy's Diary's !! ......... Regards Sandy :) |
ADVICE ON HEXING SMALL PETZ If you hex files to produce small Petz, be very careful what you do with the offspring because some odd things can happen in later generations. I played around with hexing some while back, and found all sorts of odd things happened after they had grown up, and in later generations. Like their heads disappeared but left the eyes protruding, some grew massive, some shrunk to nothing - like the MicroPet. AND parts of one became see through when it was about a month old!! One caused the Petz prog to crash when I bred it with another petz. So if you put hexed mini petz up for adoption WITHOUT SPAYING/NEUTERING THEM FIRST, you really ought to put up a notice on your site saying that you take no responsibility for any damage they might cause to the computer or the Petz Game. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO BREED. That way the odd things wouldn't occur because there would be no later generations to worry about. Once again, the reason we spay/neuter our Lilliputz is that I am concerned that if too many breeding miniaturez got into the community in general, it could create a situation where no one would know if their adopted petz had miniature 'genes' in them. Then people would never be quite sure if they were going to breed normal petz or not, and might get most upset if they had not been told that their pets had got inherited 'mini genes'. That's why I decided to stick to the selectively bred spayed petz for the Lilliputz Miniaturez. Anyway, best of luck with what ever you decide to do. Incidentally, please do not describe them as Lilliputz though. That name is copyrighted to our Liliiputz Website, where all Genuine Lilliputz Miniaturez provided by SANDY@LPRL, are supplied with specific ID numbers and Lilliputz history in their profiles to identify them. |
LILLIPUTZ MINIATUREZ WEBSITE POLICY: Thank you to those people who have written to suggest changes in the way that Lilliputz Miniaturez is run, but necessity determines that this website will operate in the way in which it was conceived & designed by Sandy in April 2000. Changes and decisions will be made only at our discretion. Because of other commitments, the adoptionz have always been run only as an occasional venture when time allows. This is usually once per month, and no 24/7 stuff was ever envisaged! Usually clues or notice is give of the Lilliputz pending arrival from either Sandy's Diary, LPRL Updates or UK Petz Updates Pages. Adoptionz procedures will remain as they are - One Lilliputz Pet per Person per Consignment. NOT FAIR? - THEN BE THERE ! Thankeez Guyz :) PLEASE DO NOT WRITE TO US SUGGESTING CHANGES |
