The History of Lilliput Miniatures (c)

During the early months of the year 2000 we heard of a rescue campaign to save the Lilliput Miniature Petz. We were told that these tiny little guyz were being rounded up as strays in the Land of Lilliput, and being cared for by The Voluntary Society of Petz Lovers .

It would appear that some years back a number of Petz arrived in Lilliput by ship, and sadly some were either abandoned, or just got lost amongst the many strayz living in the streets.  The only way to survive was to mix with the native Miniature Petz. They often wandered and roamed around scavenging for food where they could find it. Some formed great packs and there was rivalry for the better territory.  The authorities decided that if something was not done then Lilliput would soon be over run by these strayz, and most would eventually have turned completely wild.

It became a big worry, and in order to reduce the numbers, the Lilliput Council passed a law allowing the culling of any Petz found wandering and unaccompanied by a human. This appalled many of the Lilliputian residents who were genuine Petz lovers, and they formed The Lilliput Petz Rescue League (LPRL). They decided to rescue as many of these little animals as they could. The Voluntary Society of Petz Lovers assisted by picking up many of the little strays and handing them over to the LPRL. We can only imagine what fate lay ahead for these animals were it not for the kindness of the people who took them in, and looked after them. It has been reported to us that a certain element of the Lilliputian society even EAT stray petz that are caught in the streets!!

*******************************

The Lilliputz are all of mixed breed, but beautiful little guys. The Petz have been cared for until they are fit and healthy, and ready to find owners who will continue to care for and love them. Further rehabilitation may still be required, because some of them may appear to be a little aggressive to begin with. This is not because they have recently been abused - it is derived from their inherited natural instincts to protect themselves in the wild. Usually these ones settle down once they are in a happy loving environment.

The dogz history profiles, will include ancestors such as  Gulliver and Lilly, Tony and Tintin, or Tiny and Lady. Many of the Dogz we are expecting are related to these famous former pack leaders from the Land of Lilliput. The history of the Lilliput Catz is not yet clear because their presence only became apparent to us in May 2000, but we will update here when more is known.

Because of the interest in our recent website survey about these little Petz, we have arranged a campaign to offer an occasional adoption service. So if you would like to give one of the little petz a try there is no obligation to keep them. If after adopting one you find that you can not offer a permanent home, then you are very welcome to return it for re-homing.

NOTE: As with many Rescue Societies, and in an attempt to reduce the amount of strays, the tiny little Petz have all been spayed or neutered. This will prevent their genes from getting bred into the general Petz Community and thereby prevent the possibility of any genetic throwback. Therefor, they are only suitable as play Petz. You will not be able to breed them, but they will be a joy to train and play with in Petz3 & 4. They have all the potential to train for showz, just as their larger counterparts, and after a little loving and feeding they should mix well with your other Petz.
It is forbidden under the copyright on this website to tamper with or modify the adopted Petz files, also to reverse the breeding potential.

A few larger Miniature Petz (Probably throwbacks) have also been discovered and these may also be on offer for adoption - as and when they arrive at the LPRL. They are still relatively small compared to what we are used to !

Thank you for taking the time to read this story.
