OPR KILMARNOCK: 3 Aug 1833.'William Love in Robertson Place and Lillias Gregg in Titchfield Street both in same church parish after proclamation were married'. Note: A family bible gives details of three of the children to this family. An extract from a suplemetary register, page 267, kept separate to the main register gives us details of children Sarah, John and Hugh.

BIBLE DETAILS: Sarah Love first daughter and third child of William Love calicao printer and Lillias Gregg his wife was born Kilmarnock on 31st day of October 1839'.

John Love third son and fourth child of William Love calico printer and Lilias Gregg his wife was born Kilmarnock on 26th day of March 1842'.

Hugh Love fouth son and sixth child of William Love calico printer and Lilias Gregg his wife was born Kilmarnock on 16th day of September 1847'.

According to a census taken in 1851 at Nelson Street Kilmarnock three children are unaccounted for on the bible extract and according to the mathematics on Hugh's entry in the bible i.e sixth child/fourth son this suggest a girl must have been born between 1842 and 1847.
