IPEC

IPEC is a Local Evangelical Fellowship of the Evangelical Alliance (EA). It is effectively EA's voice in lpswich and surrounding areas and is a partnership of people, organisations and churches with common evangelical beliefs who recognise the strength of standing and acting together on issues that unite and impact the local community.

IPEC exists to

·
Provide a meeting point for local chuch leaders.

· Provide a platform for inter-church events.

· Enable Christians to work effectively together.

· Enable churches to speak with a united voice.

· Provide a national link to other evangelical churches through membership of the
  Evangelical Alliance (EA).

IPEC's mission is to bring the love and compassion of Jesus into the every day situations of people in the area which we serve.

IPEC's vision is to encourage, and, where appropriate, enable groups of Christians from member churches and organisations to live out their beliefs in practical ways spanning across church boundaries. We do this best when active members alert us to needs and opportunities to prayerfully consider and act upon.

Worship
An established feature of the IPEC year is the annual United Service which takes place on a Sunday evening, usually in October. We make a point of moving the event around to different venues, although, in practice there are a limited number of churches large enough to host this popular event.

We aim to make the worship vibrant, whilst being sensitive to the varying backgrounds of our members. The speaker is normally a nationally known person with a message relevant to the current
IPEC programme.
